Weather Chart DOWNLOAD
Our weather chart is designed to be used in your students daily routine. Pin an arrow to the middle and have a student move it to the correct weather of the day. If your student is confident, have them complete the sentence below. This chart is great if it is printed large and then laminated. The wipe board marker can then be easily removed the following day!
Vocabulary Worksheets DOWNLOAD
These weather worksheets help your students recognize weather vocabulary. Be sure to show your children how to use the sheet by doing the first question together at the front of class. After finishing the lesson, ask for volunteers that want to read the sheet while repeating a weather sentence pattern: “Today is (weather).”

Weather Coloring Worksheets DOWNLOAD
These coloring sheets can be used for students of all ages. The coloring sheets can help strengthen pencil grip for younger students, while also helping children learn to color inside the lines. If some of your students finish too quickly, ask them to turn over their sheet and draw a picture of the weather today.
Weather Vocabulary Writing Worksheets DOWNLOAD
Writing is the last thing you should try with your class as it’s the most difficult. Be sure your children can already write Aa-Zz before they try to write words. Children can pick up bad habits if suddenly asked to write words when they don’t know how to write letters yet. If your children are confident, try using the writing worksheets with longer sentence patterns.
The Vocabulary worksheets have been combined into convenient books. Feel free to use the book that is the most appropriate level for your students.
Weather Bingo DOWNLOAD
Weather bingo is a great activity for the children to look forward to at the end of the lesson. Use some counters or precut pieces of card to make counters. Pick 1 or 2 students to give out the materials and counters to save yourself some energy and be sure to model the first game so the children understand how to play. Try to use the sentence pattern to drill the card chosen during the game. This way, the children can get even more practice!
Weather Reading & Writing Book DOWNLOAD
Now that your students are confident with reading & writing the weather vocabulary, why don’t you try our weather book designed to help teachers keep track of how much each student can write. These books are designed so children can draw one weather each day, letting students draw their own picture and then filling out the sentence. The blank book can also be used as a weather diary, recording what the weather is like each day.
Now that you have all the weather teaching materials, here are some sentence patterns and grammar to practice. When using the weather sentence patterns, try to only choose one or two patterns that match your students level. For example, if your students are beginners, then maybe only use present tense patterns. If your students are advanced, then try to extend sentences e.g. Q.“hows the weather today?” A.”It’s hot and sunny today.”
